The service

Dyscalculia.io offers a free online screening test for number skills and a web program of short number-sense exercises: the first 5 levels of each age world are free with an account, and a paid subscription unlocks the full program. Features, exercises and content may be added, changed or removed as we improve the service. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use it.

Educational software, not a medical service

Dyscalculia.io is educational software. The test is a screening and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent dyscalculia or any other condition, and the program does not replace assessment or support from a qualified professional. Only a qualified professional can diagnose dyscalculia. We make no promise about the educational effect of any particular exercise.

Accounts

You must be an adult (18, or the age of majority where you live) to create an account or buy a subscription. A child may use the program inside a parent's or carer's account under their supervision; the adult accepts these terms for the child. You are responsible for the activity in your account and for keeping your password safe.

Subscriptions and renewal

• The program is available as a monthly or yearly subscription. Prices, currency and applicable taxes are shown before you pay.
• The first 5 levels of each age world are free with an account, so you can try the program before paying. There is no free period on paid plans: a paid plan starts, and is charged, when you complete payment.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. If we change the price, the new price applies from your next renewal and we tell you before it does.
• Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, which also handles VAT and sales tax where they apply. Creem's own terms apply to the payment.
• The web subscription is separate from the Dyscalculia mobile app: it does not unlock the app, and an app purchase does not unlock the web program.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time in the parent area of your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access until then and are not charged again. Payments are non-refundable; see the cancellation and refund policy.

Right of withdrawal (EEA, UK and similar laws): the program is digital content supplied immediately after payment. By subscribing you request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right of withdrawal once access begins, where the law allows this. Rights that cannot be waived under your local consumer law are not affected.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, sublicense or redistribute the program or its content;
• decompile, reverse engineer or circumvent the free-level limits, the parent check or other security features;
• use bots or scrapers, or interfere with the service or other users' data;
• present a screening result as a formal medical or educational diagnosis.

Intellectual property

The site, the exercises, characters, graphics, sounds and texts belong to the operator of Dyscalculia.io and its licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the program for non-commercial purposes.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties including Google (Firebase, Google sign-in, Google Analytics) and Creem. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

Changes to the service

We may change or discontinue features. Where a change affects something you have paid for, we honour the subscription period you have already paid for. We are not liable for loss of progress caused by an update where we took reasonable steps to preserve it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. You can delete your account at any time from the parent area, which also cancels an active subscription immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability — remain in effect.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits or goodwill, or decisions made on the basis of a screening result. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate the operator of Dyscalculia.io for claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes that cannot be resolved amicably go to the competent courts of Istanbul. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or another country that gives you mandatory protection, you keep that protection and may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Severability and changes

If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force and the provision is replaced by a valid one closest to its intent. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version and significant changes are announced to signed-in users before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
