How much does the Dyscalculia.io number-sense program cost?

The Dyscalculia.io program costs $9.99 per month or $39.99 per year (about $3.33 a month, 67% less than monthly), and the first 5 levels of each age world are free with an account. It is a browser-based practice program of short daily number-sense exercises — 196 levels across 10 exercise types in four age worlds — that starts from the profile of the free dyscalculia test. It can be cancelled anytime from the dashboard and is educational software, not a diagnosis or a professional service.

  • 1Count the Dots — Seeing small amounts at a glance, without counting one by one.
  • 2Which is Bigger? — Linking a digit to the amount it stands for.
  • 3Which Group Has More? — Judging which of two groups is larger — the approximate number sense.
  • 4Place the Number — Placing numbers in order and in proportion on a 0–100 line.
  • 5Remember the Digits — Holding a sequence of digits in working memory.

What the dyscalculia program is

Dyscalculia.io is a daily online practice program for the basic number skills that the free dyscalculia test measures. Each session takes about five minutes in the browser and is built from short exercises: seeing small amounts at a glance, comparing numbers and groups, placing numbers on a line, remembering digits, adding and subtracting.

It is educational software. It trains and practises number skills; it is not therapy, not a diagnosis and not a replacement for a teacher or specialist. If you need a formal conclusion, read how dyscalculia is diagnosed.

What is included in the dyscalculia program

Both plans include the whole program. There are no paid add-ons, reports or extra levels.

  • 196 levels across 10 exercise types, from dot counting and ten frames to number ordering, subtraction and flash dots.
  • Four age worlds: 4–6, 7–9, 10–12 and 13 to adult, each with its own settings and pace.
  • A starting point taken from the test profile, so the first sessions work on the focus area.
  • Spaced repetition: skills you have practised come back just before they would fade.
  • A progress map, daily streaks and a skills profile you can retake at any time.
  • A parent area behind a quick parent check, with the past week's progress, a daily goal and an optional daily time limit.

How the dyscalculia program adapts to the learner

The program starts where the test left off. If the profile shows the number line as the focus area, the first sessions practise the number line; if working memory stands out, digit exercises come first. As accuracy rises, levels get harder in small steps, and when a skill slips, it returns sooner.

Short, frequent practice of one skill tends to work better than long sessions of mixed maths, which is why sessions are kept to about five minutes. For ideas you can combine with the program at home, see the dyscalculia exercises page.

Who the dyscalculia program is for

The program is for learners whose free test profile shows one or more skills that take extra effort, and for anyone who wants a structured daily routine for number sense.

  • Parents of children aged 4 and up who want a short, consistent daily habit at home.
  • Teenagers who need to rebuild basic number skills before tackling harder maths.
  • Adults who want to practise privately — see dyscalculia in adults.
  • Families waiting for or following a professional assessment who want to keep practising in the meantime.

Dyscalculia program vs. tutoring and worksheets

Tutoring, worksheets and an app each have a place, and many families combine them. The table shows where the program fits.

What happens when I cancel?

You cancel from the dashboard in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.

Can I get a refund?

No. Payments are non-refundable, which is why the first 5 levels of every world are free to try before paying. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the paid period and are not charged again.

Can I try the program before paying?

Yes. Create a free account and play the first 5 levels of each of the four age worlds, with no card needed. The paid plan starts when you pay.

Start the dyscalculia program after the free test

The simplest path is: take the free test, read the profile, then start the program from the result screen. The profile carries over, so there is nothing to set up. Adults can use the dyscalculia test for adults page for the same test with adult explanations.

Frequently asked questions

How much does the dyscalculia program cost?

$9.99 per month or $39.99 per year, which works out at about $3.33 a month (save 67%). The first 5 levels of each age world are free with an account.

Can I use the program for free?

Partly. The first 5 levels of each of the four age worlds are free with a free account, with no card needed. The full program starts when you subscribe.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, from your dashboard in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the paid period.

Do you offer refunds?

No, payments are non-refundable. Play the free levels first; cancel anytime from your dashboard and you keep access until the paid period ends.

Yes. The parent area sits behind a quick parent check (a two-digit addition). There you see the past week's progress, set a daily goal and an optional daily time limit, choose the age world and manage the subscription.

Which devices does it work on?

Any modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.

Can one account be used by the whole family?

We recommend one account per learner, so the program adapts to one person's profile and progress. The account belongs to a parent or adult.

Do I need to take the test first?

It is recommended, because the program uses the profile to choose where to start. You can also start without it and take the test later from the dashboard.

Is the program therapy?

No. It is educational software that trains basic number skills. It does not diagnose dyscalculia or replace a teacher, tutor or specialist.

What ages is it for?

From about age 4 to adult, across four age worlds: 4–6, 7–9, 10–12 and 13 to adult.

How long is a daily session?

About five minutes. Short daily practice is the design, not a limit — learners can keep going if they want to.

Is it the same as the Dyscalculia mobile app?

The test uses the same games and scoring as the app. The web program is a separate browser subscription paid through Creem.
